Biotechnical Sciences - Agriculture - Plant Protection (Phytomedicine).

Study of the biology and ecology of weeds, especially invasive, quarantine, and economically harmful species; study of weed flora of crop and ruderal habitats; study of the effects of conventional and biorational herbicides on weeds and crops; examination of ecotoxicity of herbicides in vitro and in vivo conditions; study and selection plants with allelopathic potential; examination of the effects of allelochemicals and bioherbicides on weeds and crops; examination of efficacy and selectivity of allelochemicals and reduced doses of conventional herbicides; development of a strategy for the integrated weeds management.
